About the Role
We’re looking for a Cyber Project Manager/Leader with advanced technical and leadership skills to manage high-impact cybersecurity initiatives that protect our organization’s Critical Valued Assets (CVAs). This is a senior-level hybrid role based in Toronto, ideal for a cybersecurity professional with a strong background in enterprise IT modernization, security architecture, and project leadership.
You will lead complex, high-risk security programs from end to end, ensuring secure design, delivery, and day 2 support of cybersecurity solutions. Expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), IBM Guardium, and modern enterprise security tools is key.

Key Responsibilities
Lead large scale cybersecurity and IT modernization programs with a focus on protecting CVAs.
Architect and implement advanced security controls including DLP, database activity monitoring, encryption, and tokenization.
Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to drive secure project delivery.
Integrate “security by design” principles into project planning and execution.
Ensure successful operational handover and support of all project deliverables.
Prepare executive-level reporting and risk mitigation strategies.

Must-Have Experience
Enterprise IT & Cybersecurity Leadership
Proven experience managing enterprise scale cybersecurity programs.
Expertise in DLP solutions and database monitoring (e.g., IBM Guardium).
Proficiency in IAM (SSO, MFA, PKI), network security, cloud/on-prem security controls.
Knowledge of SIEM/SOAR tools (Splunk, Sentinel), EDR, and compliance standards (ISO 27001, FIPPA, PHIPA).
Advanced Program & Project Management
Strategic thinking and analytical mindset.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to lead decisively and prioritize competing demands.
Demonstrated success managing high risk, high impact security projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior cybersecurity project leader
Hands-on experience with Data Protection & Information Security tools
Deep knowledge of Critical Valued Assets (CVAs) and enterprise risk
Comfortable engaging with executive stakeholders and technical teams alike
Eligible for Canadian Government Security Clearance
