One of our top telecommunications clients is looking for Service Desk, Support Agent

The Support Agent, Service Desk position is a hybrid contract role based in Mississauga, Ontario, with a requirement to work onsite one day per week. The contract runs until January 31, 2026, with the potential for extension based on performance.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of customer service requests in a prompt, accurate, and professional manner. Key tasks include responding to inquiries, investigating and following up on issues, and ensuring proper routing of requests to the appropriate departments. Maintaining confidentiality and using call tracking systems to document all client interactions is essential to the role.

 

This position involves working with tickets from government sources, managing timely follow-ups, overseeing billing processes, and generating reports. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a team player, and someone who can quickly learn and adapt to changes, including shift flexibility. While prior customer service experience is required, familiarity with SAP is considered an asset. The role emphasizes professionalism, relationship-building, and accountability in all client interactions.
