Your new Company:Large and Reputable Canadian Company in the Mining, Oil, and Gas Industry seeking to hire a contract analyst for a 6-month contract.
Your New Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of experience in contract analysis within the mining, oil, or gas industry. This is a full-time, 6-month contract position with the potential for renewal based on performance and business needs. As a Contract Analyst, you will play a critical role in reviewing, analyzing, and managing contracts to ensure compliance and optimize contract performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities within contracts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, procurement, and finance, to provide contract-related insights and support.Prepare and maintain accurate contract documentation and records.Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to contract terms and conditions.Assist in the negotiation and drafting of contract amendments and renewals.Provide guidance and support on contract-related issues to internal stakeholders.Ensure timely and accurate reporting on contract status and performance metrics.
What you will need to succeed:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract analysis within the mining, oil, or gas industry.Contract analysis experience with focus on services procurementExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
