Compliance Engineer

🔌 We’re Hiring: Compliance Engineer | Burnaby, BC | 1-Year Contract 🔍

Hi All,

Our client, a leading energy utility that generates, purchases, distributes, and sells electricity, is currently seeking a Compliance Engineer for a 1-year contract based in Burnaby, BC (Hybrid).

📍 Location: Burnaby, BC (Hybrid)
📅 Contract Length: 1 Year
💰 Pay Rate: $63/hour INC | $51/hour T4

🔧 Role Overview:

The Compliance Engineer will support projects and/or operations by performing supervised engineering tasks of limited scope and complexity. You’ll be working in a highly regulated environment and contributing to a team committed to safety, quality, and performance.

✅ Must-Haves:

Minimum 2 years of engineering experience
E.I.T. certification
Background in computer engineering, control systems, telecommunications, systems engineering, or power engineering
Strong leadership, verbal/written communication, technical writing, and presentation skills
Solid understanding of project/task management
Highly organized and a self-starter

🌟 Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with NERC CIP compliance and cybersecurity for ICS infrastructure
Skills in Microsoft Excel VBA, Microsoft Access, PowerShell/Python scripting, data analytics, and OT device port scanning
Passionate about continuous learning and professional development
