Compliance Analyst

Exciting opportunity: Compliance Analyst
Location: Downtown Toronto – Mostly remote
Rate: 80/hr

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. 8+ years of experience supporting regulatory compliance, audits, and governance within technology or data protection initiatives in a financial services environment. (Demonstrated experience operating independently in compliance-driven, regulated environments)
2. Strong ability to interpret and operationalize complex regulatory legislation, policies, and control frameworks.
3. 5+ years of experience maintaining structured compliance documentation, SOPs, requirement registers, and evidence logs (Exceptional written communication skills with a focus on precision, traceability, and audit defensibility)
4. Ability to influence without authority and work effectively across technology, security, and governance teams.
5. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio;
6. Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Jira
