Senior Cloud Support Specialist
Location: Waterloo, ON (Hybrid – 3 days on-site)
Type: 9-month contract, ASAP start, possible extension
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Support Specialist to support a financial services cloud platform. This role involves advanced technical troubleshooting, onboarding support, and direct interaction with enterprise clients. Candidates must be local to Southern Ontario and able to work on-site in Waterloo.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 2nd/3rd level cloud and technical support
Act as main point of contact for platform service requests
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolutions
Assist with client onboarding, testing, and certification
Support ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
Monitor applications and ensure reliable transaction processing
Must-Have Skills
5+ years in technical support or cloud support roles
Experience supporting financial services or payment processing systems
Strong understanding of AP/AR, payment workflows, reconciliation
Knowledge of SWIFT iso15022/20022
Exposure to TMS, ERP systems, and payment gateways
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
Knowledge of trade/post-trade processes (equities, fixed income, ETFs)
Treasury management or AP/AR automation experience
Ability to work on a shifting schedule
