Sr. DevOps Cloud Engineers – Data and AI
Role Overview:
Our Government is embarking on a large Data & AI transformation initiative. We are looking for a Cloud/DevOps Engineers to work within the development team to design, implement, test and operate various components of the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Design scalable and secure data platform component in a cloud-based environment.
Implement, automate, test and maintain and support.
Ensure all components are designed with availability and observability in mind.
Manage all aspects of DevOps within the team from requirements to issue resolution.
Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in DevOps data preferably with modern data technologies, e.g AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, etc.
Experience designing scalable and secure platform components.
Proficient in modern data pipeline coding languages, e.g. Scala, Python, Java, etc.
Ability to work independently or as a team.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Relevant education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with large-scale distributed systems with many stakeholders and clients.
Experience with Databricks and MS Azure
PREFERRED SKILLS
Data & AI + Databricks + AWS or Azure or GCP + Scala + Python + Java + DevOps
