Role Details:
📍 Location: Hybrid – Downtown Toronto
Office presence is ad hoc for meetings, up to 2 days/week, but may change based on business needs
⏳ Contract Duration: 1 year
🔁 Extension: Possible extension up to 16 months total
💼 Conversion: Possibility of conversion to FTE
🕘 Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
💰 Rate: Up to $90/hr. Incop

I’m hiring for a Cloud / DevOps Engineering contract role with a leading banking client in Toronto.

This role sits within a Cloud Engineering team focused on building and supporting enterprise cloud platforms, Kubernetes-based infrastructure, CI/CD processes, automation, and cloud resource enablement across the bank.
The team is now expanding capabilities around Redis Enterprise, supporting growing adoption across application teams that require high-performance caching, low-latency data access, and scalable cloud platform services.

Key Skills Required:
✅ 5+ years of hands-on experience in Development, Infrastructure Operations, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering
✅ 3+ years working with cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
✅ 1+ year of hands-on experience with GCP or Azure
✅ 3+ years of hands-on Terraform HCL / Infrastructure as Code experience
✅ 1+ year of hands-on Redis experience
✅ Experience with Python, Go, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git/GitOps, cloud automation, and enterprise platform engineering is a strong asset

The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting scalable cloud platforms, working with application teams, automating infrastructure, and maintaining secure, highly available enterprise systems.
This is a great opportunity to work on modern cloud engineering initiatives, gain exposure to GCP and Redis Enterprise, and collaborate with senior stakeholders across a large financial services environment.
