Job Description
We have a 6-month contract requirement (with possible extension) for a Cisco Network Analyst. This is hybrid work (2-3 days onsite per week), so candidates local to Vancouver/Richmond area are preferred. Depending on the projects and deployments going on, certain weeks might be 5 days onsite.
Reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure, the Resource will be responsible for managing & maintaining the Cisco network stack. Some projects in flight include migration to Cisco SDN, wireless controllers’ setup, and configuring access points.
The ideal candidate must have relevant work experience resolving IT related hardware and software issues; Understanding of service management practices, and industry knowledge of ITSM tools; Experience supporting, maintaining, and administering computer devices such as, but not limited to, desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile hardware including printers, scanners, and multi-function hardware; and maintaining network resources, including configuration of network switches, server hardware, VoIP systems, operating systems, applications and services in a wired and wireless environment. Coverage areas would be Cisco, PAN, and F5 for the most part. Top 3 skills: Experience with Cisco SDN, Wireless Controller setup, and Cisco ISE.
