Hiring: Capital Markets Operations Analyst | 1-Year Contract | Toronto Financial District

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join a world-class financial institution in the heart of Toronto. This is a 1-year engagement with a high potential for extension, perfect for a professional with 1–2 years of experience looking to deepen their expertise in Fixed Income.

The Opportunity: You will play a vital role in the collateral settlement process, supporting complex trading activities. This role offers a hybrid work model (3 days onsite in the Financial District) and provides direct exposure to the full transaction lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities:

Manage collateral settlements and cash Principal/Interest movements.
Handle SWIFT messaging (MT202/103) and exception management.
Reconcile internal accounts and depository balances within a high-volume environment.

Candidate Requirements:
– Experience: 1–2 years in Capital Markets (Settlements/Reconciliations preferred).
– Expertise: Strong knowledge of Canadian Fixed Income, Repos, and Security Lending.
– Technical: Advanced MS Suite and VBA skills.
– Credentials: CSC or other relevant Finance certifications.
