Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a C# .Net Trading Developer-Banking. In this position, you will drive the development and enhancement of high-performance trading solutions within a global electronic FX platform, ensuring seamless data distribution, low-latency processing, and system scalability. This contract offers the opportunity to influence critical trading infrastructure, support migration initiatives, and collaborate with a dynamic team operating independently and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

Design and develop robust software components for electronic trading systems
Develop low-latency trading features using C# .NET, optimizing for performance and scalability
Create and execute comprehensive test cases to ensure system reliability
Lead the migration of backend utility services from vendor-supported to in-house systems
Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple applications to coordinate migration activities
Support production environments through root cause analysis and issue resolution
Address business requirements independently, proposing and implementing technical solutions
Mentor junior developers to foster growth and knowledge sharing
Desired Skill-Set

7+ years of professional C# .NET development experience
Expertise in optimizing software performance and latency reduction
Familiarity with the FIX protocol
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to ask questions, explain ideas clearly, and work collaboratively
Proficient multi-threaded programming skills
Solid understanding of financial markets and electronic trading systems
Nice to Have

BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
Familiarity with Broadway FX
Experience with Java
Previous experience in financial institutions
