Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a C#/C++ Developer – Capital Market/Trading to design, develop, and implement application solutions that support complex business requirements across modern and evolving technology platforms.
Pay rate range (CAD): $70.14/hr – $84.17/hr
Responsibilities
Analyze highly complex business requirements
Produce technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
Design, test, implement, and support solutions using industry best practices
Ensure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported applications
Develop detailed technical designs and application development plans using existing and emerging platforms
Translate business requirements into clear programming instructions
Conduct impact analysis to assess organizational needs and goals
Develop, review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installation for large-scale systems
Support production applications and recommend enhancement opportunities
Remain adaptable in an evolving environment, adjusting priorities as needed
Desired Skill-Set
Strong experience modernizing legacy applications
Hands-on development experience with Azure technologies, including at least one or more of the following: ACA, ADF, ADB, Power BI, Functions Apps, APIM
Experience building end-to-end data and integration solutions
Iterative and Agile SDLC experience
Strong problem solving and critical thinking
Attention to detail and strategic thinking
Ability to act as a technical expert and support modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts
Nice to Have
Experience in financial institutions
Exposure to data migration, cloud transformation, or modernization programs
Comfort working as a team player in fast-moving, high-accountability environments
Adaptability to change with a positive, solution-focused mindset
