NORAMTEC is seeking three experienced Business and Technical Analysts to support a federal client undertaking a review of its case management processes and systems. This initiative aims to identify a modern, efficient, and secure solution aligned with the Government of Canada IM/IT standards.
The client has completed a Needs Analysis and Options Analysis; however, both require expert review, validation, and updates to ensure accuracy and alignment with current operational and technical requirements. With limited internal capacity, the organization requires short-term contractors to provide technical advisory support, feasibility assessments, and documentation enhancements.
Scope of Work
The selected contractors will provide expert advisory and technical validation services in support of the Case Management System Review, including:
Review and validation of existing analytical documents
Support to the Working Group through consultation and facilitation
Technical assessment of system options
Development of workflow documentation
Preparation of an implementation plan
Contributions to presentations and reports for management decision-making
Key Responsibilities
1. Document Review and Validation
Analyze existing Needs Analysis and Options Analysis documents
Validate business and technical requirements
Identify gaps, risks, and outdated assumptions
2. Consultation & Working Group Support
Participate in meetings with project leadership, IM/IT advisors, and stakeholders
Facilitate technical discussions on system needs, data management, and integration
Support the refinement of analytical documents based on findings
3. Technical Assessment & Validation
Assess the feasibility and suitability of proposed system options
Validate vendor claims or solution capabilities
Recommend preferred technical approaches and architecture considerations
4. Reporting & Deliverables
Prepare a concise technical validation report (findings, risks, recommendations)
Support the development of presentations and decision-making materials
5. Workflow Documentation and coordinated other duties.
Qualifications
Bilingual (English/French)
Proven experience in business analysis and technical analysis
Experience with IM/IT assessments, enterprise system reviews, or case management solutions
Strong understanding of the Government of Canada digital and IT standards (asset)
Excellent facilitation, documentation, and communication skills
