We Are Hiring: Business Systems Analyst – OpenText Exstream (5+ Years) | GTA, Ontario
VStream Labs is looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst with deep hands-on experience in OpenText Exstream to join our Document Automation and Publishing team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about transforming customer communications through automation, modernization, and seamless system integration.
Location: GTA, Ontario (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
What You Will Do:
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to gather and translate requirements for customer communications and document delivery.
• Develop high-quality Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, and design mock-ups.
• Lead document analysis, troubleshooting, and propose scalable solutions across policy and claims systems.
• Conduct testing in lower environments and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
• Integrate modern document systems with legacy platforms (e.g., policy admin, claims systems).
• Help guide document migration and modernization initiatives across the enterprise.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience with OpenText Exstream (design, configuration, integration).
• Strong documentation skills – ability to craft clear and comprehensive FSDs, BRDs, and mock-ups.
• Proven experience in insurance or financial services document workflows.
• Proficient with SQL, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PDF tools.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Guidewire or similar policy admin platforms.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile delivery methods.
• Bilingual in French and English is a strong asset.
• Background in programming, system integration, or IT project delivery is a plus.
Note: Candidates must be in Canada and have an Open Work Permit/PR/Citizenship or otherwise be eligible to work in Canada.
