Agilus is supporting a reputable global insurance client and we’re seeking Business Systems Analysts (BSA) with expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter to join their dynamic team. You’ll play a key role in analyzing business requirements and translating them into effective solutions within the Guidewire platform. This is an exciting chance to enhance and optimize insurance systems while working with cross-functional teams.
About the Role
Hybrid role | 3 positions available – 2 days in office – Downtown Toronto
Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements; assess system impacts.
Create process models, cost/benefit analyses, and risk assessments.
Support testing, implementation, and training.
Lead project tasks across business and IT teams.
Configure, customize, and test Guidewire applications.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Participate in integration testing, UAT, and deployment.
Mentor team members and collaborate on enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering + 8+ years IT experience (PolicyCenter), OR High School + 10+ years IT experience.
Required Skills
Process reengineering (LEAN/Six Sigma), process modeling tools.
Insurance application design/analysis, use case development.
Experience with RAD tools/techniques.
Preferred Skills
Guidewire certifications.
Agile methodology experience.
Knowledge of insurance industry standards/regulations.
