About the Role
We’re hiring an experienced Business Project Manager to lead large-scale, high-profile I&IT initiatives within the Ontario Public Service (OPS). This role is business-focused, requiring strong stakeholder leadership and organizational change management skills, with some technology knowledge to coordinate IT deliverables.

Must-Have Skills
10+ years of enterprise project management (business & I&IT)
Experience with multi-million, multi-year projects
OPS/public sector knowledge (ITIL, standards, governance)
Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills
Expertise in Agile, Waterfall & hybrid PM methodologies
Advanced MS Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams + Jira/Trello/Kanban
Cloud & Azure DevOps experience (asset)
Nice-to-Have
PMP or other PM certifications
Product management background
Familiarity with PMBOK, AODA, and OPS ITIL processes

Responsibilities
Lead planning, funding requests, and strategy execution
Translate business needs into requirements and project plans
Manage budgets, forecasts, and executive reporting
Oversee multi-disciplinary teams (union staff + consultants)
Promote OPS I&IT best practices and change management adoption
Proactively manage risks, issues, and governance reporting
