Business Analyst (ServiceNow)
Location: On-site, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Contract: Open to Canadian Contractors (C2C)
Rate: $40 to $90 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (ServiceNow) to support enterprise IT service management and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow, a solid understanding of ITIL processes, and hands-on experience across infrastructure, networks, and application architecture.
You will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to define, document, and translate requirements into scalable, service-oriented solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements using ServiceNow
Support CMDB strategy and data integrity using the ServiceNow CSDM model
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and network teams to ensure end-to-end service visibility
Support ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, Discovery, and Service Mapping initiatives
Participate in agile delivery cycles using ServiceNow Agile 2.0
Support Service Portal enhancements and user experience improvements
Translate business needs into solutions aligned with ITIL and SDLC best practices
Work closely with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Engineers, and stakeholders to troubleshoot and refine requirements

Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience using ServiceNow
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and Configuration Management

Hands-on experience with:
ServiceNow CMDB (CSDM)
ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM Discovery & Service Mapping
ServiceNow Agile 2.0
ServiceNow Service Portal
Broad knowledge of:
Business application architecture
Infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux)
Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
Network architecture (switches, routers, firewalls, OSI model)
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
