Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Fixed Income and Capital Markets to support front-to-back trading, trade processing, and risk management initiatives within a global banking environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep domain knowledge across Fixed Income products, derivatives, and trading workflows, combined with strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.

This role requires hands-on exposure to Front Office trading environments and the ability to work closely with Sales, Traders, Risk teams, Technology teams, and Business Managers to deliver strategic and regulatory initiatives across enterprise trading platforms.

Candidates with experience limited to BRD documentation, JIRA coordination, QA-only responsibilities, or purely functional support roles without strong Fixed Income and quantitative exposure will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Lead business analysis activities and solution design for Fixed Income products including Bonds, Derivatives, and Exotic instruments.
Collaborate directly with Traders, Sales teams, Business Managers, and Technology stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Demonstrate strong understanding of the complete Front-to-Back trade lifecycle including:
Deal Capture
Trade Validation
Downstream Processing
P&L Calculation
Risk Management
Accounting & Settlements
Support strategic initiatives related to Trade Processing, Risk Management, and Front Office platforms.
Perform business process analysis, gap analysis, and impact assessments for medium to large-scale initiatives.
Work closely with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC lifecycle.
Coordinate functional testing, UAT support, implementation activities, and post-production validation.
Identify business and system risks and provide mitigation strategies with clear business impact analysis.
Analyze trade flows, pricing behavior, and risk metrics using strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Manually calculate and validate P&L scenarios and explain associated risk concepts.
Mentor junior Business Analysts and support cross-functional global teams operating across multiple time zones.
Ensure delivery alignment between business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technology solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications

6–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst within Capital Markets environments.
Strong domain expertise in Fixed Income and Derivatives from a Front Office perspective.
Proven experience working with Trade Processing and Risk Management systems.
Strong understanding of Capital Markets workflows and trading operations.
Hands-on knowledge of:
Fixed Income Products
Bonds
Interest Rate Derivatives
FX Products
Money Market Instruments
Exotic Products
Ability to manually calculate P&L and interpret risk metrics.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working on medium to large-scale enterprise initiatives.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Experience working within global delivery and distributed team environments.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience within investment banking or global financial institutions.
Exposure to Front Office trading systems and risk analytics platforms.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within Capital Markets.
