We are excited to present an excellent 2-month contract opportunity for a Business Analyst (BA). This contract involves working on a project related to the Business Plan Requirements for Fish Buyers and Processors Licence Applicants.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop business plans for clients in the fish buying and processing sectors
Conduct financial reporting and provide consultation on various business matters, including marketing and HR
Work closely with the NS Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board to ensure requirements and assessment criteria are captured in deliverables
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of business plan requirements for fish buyers and processors

Mandatory Criteria:
Demonstrated experience in business consulting (business plans, financial reporting, and general business knowledge)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications:
Experience in Nova Scotia’s fish harvesting, buying, and processing sectors
Familiarity with the seafood supply chain and relevant federal/provincial legislation
Economics and market analysis expertise
