Experienced Business Analyst Needed for 11-Month Onsite Contract in Ottawa
Our client is in search of an experienced Business Analyst for an 11-month onsite contract in Ottawa. This role mandates an active Secret Security Clearance.
Key Requirements:
– Minimum of 10 years of experience in leading client engagement activities within Government of Canada (GoC) departments or private sector organizations with over 10,000 employees. Experience should cover:
– Conducting stakeholder consultations
– Gathering, analyzing, and validating technical and business requirements
– Various tasks such as documenting requirements, assessing business processes, proposing solutions, creating project plans, and facilitating communication between business and technical teams
– Presenting insights, risks, and recommendations to diverse teams and leadership
– At least 5 years of recent experience as a Business Analyst within a GoC department, focusing on:
– Documenting business requirements, process flows, decision logs, stakeholder briefings, technical documentation, and user manuals in accordance with Government of Canada standards
– Simplifying complex IT concepts for clear understanding
– Maintaining the accuracy and relevance of all documentation
