Job Title: Business Analyst, PMO

Location: Toronto, ON, Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Compensation: estimated range $90,000–$110,000 per year

 

About the Opportunity

Join a national, business law leader where you will translate ideas into measurable improvements. In this role, you will partner with a high performing Project Management Office to evaluate needs, map processes, and deliver solutions that drive efficiency across legal operations.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across business and technology, guiding discovery, requirements, and change activities. This position sits within a professional services environment and offers meaningful exposure to enterprise projects that impact how teams serve clients every day.

Your Responsibilities

• You will gather and document business requirements, use cases, test cases, and functional specifications.

• You will map current and future state processes, identify gaps, and assess people, process, and technology impacts.

• You will facilitate workshops, align stakeholders, and act as a liaison between business and technology.

• You will support solution research and vendor selection, then coordinate UAT and pilot activities.

• You will occasionally step in as Project Manager to drive delivery and status reporting.

 

Skills and Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of business analysis and process design experience in private or public sector environments.

• Advanced proficiency with MS Suite and Visio, strong communication and relationship skills.

• Knowledge of project delivery practices across the lifecycle, with experience managing competing priorities.

• Certifications such as CBAP, PBA, BPM, Lean or Six Sigma are preferred, PMP and Prosci are assets.

• Professional services or law firm experience is an asset.
