Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a BSA – Payments who will lead transformation initiatives in the Capital Markets and Payments area of our client. In this dual BA/BSA role, the successful candidate will drive the solutioning process for backend payment orchestration projects, including API batch processing and both real-time and non-real time operations ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within quality standards, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Lead transformation projects focused on backend payment orchestration, API batch processing, and the integration of real-time and non-real time payment operations.Collaborate with business and technology partners to gather, document, and analyze both business and technical requirements.Facilitate solutioning sessions to design effective process flows and identify critical project requirements.Write clear, detailed JIRA stories to support agile project delivery.Serve as both a Business Analyst and Business Systems Analyst, ensuring seamless integration between business requirements and technical implementations.Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on strong analytical skills, while proactively addressing potential challenges.Prepare documentation and visual process maps using tools like Visio.Utilize SQL and Python for data analysis to support project decisions.Ensure alignment of project deliverables with industry standards and client expectations, particularly within the Banking and Payments sectors.

Desired Skill-Set:

5 years of experience as a Business Analyst (BA) or Business Systems Analyst (BSA)Strong understanding of business and technical requirements gatheringProven experience in Payments—whether in credit cards, international payments, or internal payment processesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environmentHands-on experience writing JIRA storiesStrong analytical skills and the ability to work independentlyProficiency in Visio, SQL, and PythonSolid background in the Banking and Payments industry

Nice to Have:

Experience on wire transfer or credit card projects within the Banking IndustryExposure to FX or internal payment projectsPrior experience in high-level project solutioning and transformation initiatives
