About The Role:

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting the development and execution of our people strategies. Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnerships, you will be a trusted partner to our functional teams, driving employee engagement, compliance, and growth.

 

Workplace Arrangements:

This role will follow a hybrid remote/onsite schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work on-site from our Ottawa Head Office, on Walkley Road 2-4 days a week.

What You’ll be Doing:

Deliver on aspects of the people plan(labour, process and tools) as assigned by the L3 Head of HR Business Partnerships.Deliver, and maintain communication on HR systems, programs and processes that are in place to support functional areas HR needs and Gaps.Monitor and maintain compliance around HR policies/labour legislation and identify risks and actions to escalate to the Head of HR Business Partnerships as needed.Provide feedback from client to COEs and HR Ops to ensure programs and guiding principles meet the needs of the functional group(s).Manage and ensure there is coaching and counselling on employee relations and labour relations programs, policies and procedures that impact your functional group(s).Build business relationships as a trusted and proactive HR Partner to drive employee engagement.Develop HR Specific content as the Subject Matter Expert.

What You’ll Bring:

University or college degree in business, HR or a related field; or equivalent experienceBilingualism English and French-5+years of people management experience5+ years experience in an HR role, with relevant experience in investigations5+ years of people management experienceAbility to inspire, motivate and develop team members at all levelsAbility to communicate/build relationships with various team stake holders across functional departmentsIn-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulationsStrong communication, organizational and interpersonal skillsStrong verbal and written presentation skillsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesEffective impacting, critical thinking and influencing skillsExperience working with an in HRIS platformActs with the highest professional standards of personal and professional integrity

Assets You May Have:

HR designation such as CHRP or CHRL, either in progress or completed

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel with overnight stay required (Our Montreal Buying Office, located in Laval).
