Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Bilingual Banking Officer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support operational activities within a dynamic team, with potential for full-time conversion based on performance. The role involves handling day-to-day banking operations, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining high standards of service.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $30.97/hr

Responsibilities

Review and compare documentation, making necessary corrections with meticulous attention to detail
Perform end-to-end operational support, including executing transactions accurately and timely
Support internal teams by validating incoming data and assisting with adjustments within authority levels
Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
Adhere to established SLAs, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy
Escalate processing or operational issues appropriately based on a solid understanding of the problem
Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in managing sensitive information
Collaborate with internal teams, providing exemplary communication and support
Support compliance with industry and internal regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering policies
Participate in scheduled daily team meetings and training sessions

Bilingual proficiency in French and English
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong work ethic with willingness to learn and adapt
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient typing skills and good organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic understanding of banking products such as MM, FX, and cash products
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Knowledge of global banking platforms is an asset

Prior banking or financial services experience
Experience with trade processing or cash product operations
Knowledge of WSS and global banking platforms
