Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Operations Officer – CSC. This position involves providing broad operational support, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance within a fast-paced financial environment. The role offers exposure to various systems and processes, with potential opportunities for advancement based on performance.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $27.70/hr

Responsibilities

Review, process, and reconcile a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently
Track and report productivity metrics to meet set deadlines and SLAs
Collaborate with internal team members to resolve operational issues promptly
Validate incoming transaction information and perform necessary adjustments within authorized limits
Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive customer data
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance service quality
Support the team in achieving operational goals through timely follow-up on requests and escalations
Assist in compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering and Business Continuity standards
Monitor and escalate high-risk or non-standard activities as needed
Prepare reports and documentation to support ongoing operational initiatives
Desired Skill-Set

Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including macros and advanced functions
Familiarity with macro processes and the MS Office Suite
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated business maturity and discretion when managing sensitive information
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and efficiently under strict deadlines
Quick learner with a motivated, goal-oriented attitude
Nice to Have

Experience with global trading platforms or WSS systems
Knowledge of MM and FX products such as options, foreign exchange spots/forwards, money market deposits and loans
Proven ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures
A proactive, “go-getter” approach to work and continuous improvement
