Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Operations Officer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support day-to-day banking operations, gain valuable experience, and develop your career within a dynamic team. The role involves processing high volumes of accounts, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining excellent service standards in a high-pressure setting.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60 – $24.88/hr

Responsibilities

Process daily banking accounts, including approvals and rejections based on established criteria
Maintain efficient and accurate processing of account transactions
Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve account issues
Handle customer data securely and responsibly
Complete tasks within designated deadlines, ensuring high quality of work
Participate in daily team meetings to discuss priorities and updates
Document and note key account details, questions, and issues accurately
Identify and escalate potential risks or discrepancies
Support process improvements and adhere to compliance standards
Adapt to changing policies, procedures, and technology updates
Assist in maintaining audit readiness and compliance documentation
Desired Skill-Set

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred)
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a high-volume environment
Independent worker with a collaborative mindset
Attention to detail and accuracy
Quick learner with a proactive approach
Knowledge of banking operations and high processing roles
Experience with cash products (Loans, Deposits, Swaps, Forwards) is advantageous
Nice to Have

Previous banking industry experience
Familiarity with global trading platforms such as MM and FX platforms
Understanding of WSS and other banking operational tools
Experience working in high-risk roles or with sensitive data
Business background or finance-related education
