Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Administrative Clerk. This position involves performing critical back-office administrative functions to support daily operations, ensure compliance, and maintain the integrity of confidential information within a leading banking environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in executing operational processes, adhering to regulatory standards, and contributing to team efficiency.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60 – $24.87

Responsibilities

Manage and process incoming mail and related materials, ensuring accurate sorting and distribution.
Complete assigned workloads within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs), meeting targets for accuracy and timeliness.
Review and analyze internal processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Investigate non-standard activities and escalate issues according to procedures.
Apply operational frameworks and ensure adherence to Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements and Business Continuity standards.
Maintain thorough understanding of industry regulations and emerging issues, ensuring compliance.
Handle sensitive and confidential documentation with discretion and professionalism.
Support team initiatives and promote a positive work environment through collaboration.
Participate actively in ongoing training, cross-training, and skill development to enhance performance.
Uphold the company’s Code of Conduct with integrity and sound judgment.
Desired Skill-Set

2 to 4 years of relevant administrative experience in a banking or financial services environment.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Acrobat Reader, and general Windows applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with critical thinking abilities.
Nice to Have

Previous banking experience.
A post-secondary diploma or degree.
Experience with operational or back-office banking functions.
