Backend QA Engineer – ABM Lab

We’re Hiring: Backend QA Engineer – ABM Lab (Hybrid, Scarborough, ON) – 9 months contract
Are you passionate about backend testing and eager to work with cutting-edge ABM (Automated Banking Machine) systems? Join our collaborative team and make an impact testing both software and hardware in a hybrid environment!
What You’ll Do:
Design, develop, and execute API & backend test plans
Perform ABM functional testing using real-world scenarios
Automate tests and integrate into CI/CD pipelines
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and improve testing processes
What We’re Looking For:
4+ years in QA, backend/API testing
Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, K6)
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana)
Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
Passionate about learning and comfortable with hardware-software hybrid testing
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with ABM or hardware-integrated systems
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS)
Knowledge of automation frameworks (Selenium) and CI/CD tools
