Azure Data Engineer

We are currently hiring an Azure Data Engineer for a client based in Toronto, ON. This is a full-time position that requires 2-3 days per week onsite at the client’s location.

This is only for people with VALID work authorization in Canada

**Role:** Data Engineer (Azure/AWS/GCP)
**Salary:** $70,000 – $80,000 per annum
**Years of Experience:** 2-3 years

**Key Responsibilities:**
• Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines on Azure platforms
• Document business requirements and translate them into data solutions
• Build and maintain scalable data models for reporting
• Perform data reconciliation and analytical validation
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring frameworks

**Requirements:**
• University degree in a relevant field
• 2-4 years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles
• Proficient in SQL for data transformation tasks
• Hands-on experience with Python and Spark
• Understanding of KPI data marts and reporting design
