WE’RE HIRING: AWS Data Engineer
📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid — 2 days/week in office)
⏳ Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Key Responsibilities
Architect & Scale: Lead the design of cloud-native batch and streaming data pipelines on AWS.
Technical Leadership: Set engineering standards, conduct architectural reviews, and mentor mid-level data engineers.
Platform Ownership: Drive data quality, monitoring, observability, and cloud cost optimization.
Innovation: Evaluate and integrate emerging AWS capabilities through proof-of-concept initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
10+ Years in Data/Software Engineering (4–5+ years focused on AWS).
AWS Core: Amazon S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, Step Functions, Kinesis, MSK.
Code & Pipeline: Strong Python, Scala, or Java; deep experience with ETL/ELT and Airflow.
IaC & DevOps: Hands-on with Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation + CI/CD.
Bonus: AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect / Data Analytics) & real-time streaming expertise.
