Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a AWS Cloud Engineer (Resilience Hub). In this position, you will lead the operationalization of AWS Next Generation Resilience Hub (AWS RH) for the organization’s Resiliency Engineering team. This role combines hands-on cloud engineering, solution architecture, product ownership, project delivery, process definition, stakeholder engagement, and operational readiness accountability. You will collaborate across teams to define standards, implement resilient cloud solutions, and embed best practices organization-wide. This is an exciting opportunity to work with emerging AWS resilience technologies, influence enterprise resiliency practices, and contribute to launching a new service capability.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operationalize cloud resilience solutions using AWS RH and other AWS services
Lead end-to-end delivery, including solution design, development, testing, implementation, and stakeholder adoption
Deploy services with AWS CDK to provision components, enforce policies, and implement least-privilege IAM controls
Establish resiliency policies, service modeling standards, assessment processes, and reporting practices
Partner with Cloud Engineering, Cyber Security, Architecture, Service Transition, and Resiliency Engineering teams for seamless delivery
Manage PDLC governance activities, including design reviews, risk assessments, and Go-Live approvals
Lead technical discussions in executive forums, architecture councils, and senior stakeholder meetings
Oversee delivery planning, dependencies, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications
Produce documentation such as process guides, operating procedures, presentations, and support materials
Conduct proof-of-concept initiatives, analyze results, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders
Proactively communicate progress, risks, and key decisions to senior leadership
Promote continuous improvement and adoption of cloud-native resilience best practices across the organization
Desired Skill-Set

10+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Site Reliability Engineering, or Resiliency Engineering within large enterprises
Deep expertise in AWS services, resilience patterns, and enterprise cloud operating models
Strong proficiency in AWS CDK, AWS CloudFormation, or other IaC tools
Extensive experience in resilience domains such as High Availability, Observability, Disaster Recovery, Testing, and Posture Analysis
Proven success delivering complex, cross-functional cloud initiatives from start to finish
Strong understanding of enterprise governance, PDLC frameworks, security and risk processes, and operational readiness
Skilled product owner, project manager, and process designer
Excellent documentation and communication abilities; capable of influencing stakeholders and translating technical details for executives
Highly organized, self-driven, and adept at working independently in fast-paced environments
Experience with Jira, Confluence, and related workflow tools
Hands-on experience with AWS Resilience Hub is a strong asset
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
Experience working in financial services or regulated environments
Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework, resilience assessments, operational readiness testing, and chaos engineering practices
Ability to create executive presentations, operational support materials, and detailed process documentation
