Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Automation Test Lead-Playwright/Python. This position involves developing and maintaining UI automation frameworks, executing automated tests for complex data workflows, and integrating testing processes into CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality across web applications and data engineering platforms. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright for web applications
Create and execute automated tests for Databricks data workflows, including notebooks and ETL pipelines
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
Collaborate with developers and data engineers to define quality standards and resolve defects
Analyze test results, document findings, and provide actionable insights
Ensure comprehensive test coverage for both frontend and backend components
Utilize JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python for automation scripting
Lead future offshore QA automation teams on test automation and execution
Support manual testing efforts as needed
Desired Skill-Set

Strong experience with Playwright automation (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python)
Proficiency in CI/CD integration for automated testing
Experience with data reconciliation and data testing
API testing expertise
Manual testing experience with automation conversion skills
Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and generate detailed specifications
Experience in designing, developing, and deploying large-scale projects
Knowledge of agile SDLC practices
