We’re Hiring: Automation Test Lead | Big 5 Bank | Hybrid in Toronto
📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 days/week onsite)
📅 Contract: 3 Months (High potential for extension)

✅ What You’ll Be Doing:
Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java, JUnit, RestAssured, and TestNG
Test backend microservices that power payments, EMTs, bill payments, and wallet provisioning
Collaborate with developers, architects, and business system analysts to build robust, scalable test coverage
Improve automation reliability and contribute to performance/load testing
Enhance testing frameworks and promote QA best practices
🎯 Must-Have Skills:
5+ years of automation testing experience (API-focused)
Strong hands-on Java coding (no record-and-playback tools)
Framework experience with JUnit, TestNG, and RestAssured
💡 Nice-to-Have:
Experience with MongoDB and SQL
Postman for RESTful API testing
Load testing tools: Locust, LoadRunner
Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI, YAML, JSON
