Automation Test Engineer (Hammer Expertise)

We seek an experienced Automation Test Engineer with Hammer expertise to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for our Banking Client. This hybrid role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Location: Toronto Downtown, ON (Hybrid- one day in office every week)
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: Initial 6-month contract with potential 2-year extension

Key Responsibilities:
Design & Implementation: Build robust test automation frameworks using Hammer for banking systems (e.g., payments, transaction processing).
Test Development: Create detailed test plans, scripts, and scenarios aligned with business and technical requirements.
Execution & Analysis: Execute automated tests, analyze outcomes, and document defects via tools like JIRA.
CI/CD Integration: Embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Docker) for continuous validation.
Collaboration: Partner with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to refine user stories and ensure compliance.
Optimization: Troubleshoot automation issues and enhance test suite performance.

Requirements:
3+ Years proficiency with Hammer in banking/financial systems..
5+ years in test automation with tools like Selenium, Cucumber, or similar.
Strong scripting skills (Python, Java, Bash).
Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and banking domains (e.g., retail/corporate banking).
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Agile/Scrum familiarity and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker).
Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure).
