Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for an Automation Engineer – Capital Markets/ Regulatory Reporting who will ensure the quality and reliability of the client’s software by designing, developing, and running automated test scripts. This candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, create test cases, identify and fix defects, and implement QA best practices. This role is perfect for someone passionate about quality assurance, with a strong background in software development and automated testing frameworks.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing processes.
Create and execute tests for smoke, regression, and functional (story acceptance) scenarios.
Develop and maintain tests for APIs, databases, core business logic, and message queues.
Collaborate with developers to create and execute unit tests.
Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous testing.
Identify, report, and manage software concerns throughout the development lifecycle.
Communicate testing status, issues, and QA schedules to the team.
Advocate for QA standards and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
Desired Skill Set:

5+ years of experience in software testing, automation, and process improvement.
Strong knowledge of Selenium with Java and C#.
Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, and working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Proven expertise in setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical details effectively.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in Capital Market Regulatory such as EMIR, CSA rewriter DSR(Derivatives Strategic Reporting)
