We are looking for an Analyst, Capital Markets and Financing to join our Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Ltd. (“Crestpoint”) team. Part of the Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (“CC&L”), Crestpoint is a commercial real estate investment manager dedicated to providing institutional and high net worth investors with direct access to commercial real estate assets. Through the execution of our disciplined investment approach and active management of our properties, we strive to deliver stable income and attractive long-term returns through a diversified portfolio of office, industrial, retail and multi-family residential properties.

What You Will Do

As an Analyst on the Financing / Capital Markets Team, you will:

Assist in sourcing Debt (acquisitions, development, refinancing, portfolio-level) including:Compiling summary materialsCommunicating with external partners, lenders, and internal teams within Crestpoint and CC&LFacilitating lender due diligenceReviewing offer documentationCoordinating closing matters with legal counselAssisting with post-closing matters including monitoring of ongoing debt obligationsManaging maturity schedule and fund-level debt informationReporting obligations including completion of various calculationsSupporting financing strategy across the portfolio including gathering and evaluating economic dataAssisting with document review (loan agreements, partnership documents, etc.)Regularly monitoring and demonstrating compliance with internal procedures
What You Bring

1-2 years of experience in Real Estate Investments, Asset Management, or Commercial Mortgage Lending considered an assetUndergraduate degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferredStrong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent financial and analytical skillsExceptional attention to detailProven ability to think logically and problem solve effectivelyDemonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining strict deadlinesAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, with an exceptional level of organizationProven self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a teamInterest in real estate and/or real estate related fieldsA positive attitude, the ability to take initiative and work in a dynamic environment
