Alation Data Governance Lead

We’re Hiring: Alation Data Governance Lead (Contract) 🚨
📍 Location: Remote Canada (Must be available to work PST hours)

Are you an expert in Alation and passionate about data governance? We’re looking for a contract Data Governance Lead to help drive enterprise-level initiatives and ensure robust data cataloging, stewardship, and quality.
🔍 What You’ll Do:
✅ Lead Alation implementation, configuration & administration
✅ Build and maintain a metrics catalog
✅ Define and enforce governance policies
✅ Support data discovery, lineage, and PII management
✅ Act as SME for Alation best practices
🧩 What We’re Looking For:
✔️ 5+ years in data governance or metadata management
✔️ Hands-on Alation experience at scale
✔️ Knowledge of PII governance & data quality standards
✔️ Strong communication and collaboration skills
