AI/ML Platform Engineer

P is looking for an experienced AI/ML Platform Engineer to support a leading client in the financial sector. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and playing a key role in managing and enhancing enterprise AI and Analytical Platforms.

Details of the position include:
– Location: Hybrid (3 days/week) | 160 Front St, Toronto
– Duration: 12-Month Contract with renewal
– Rate: $70/hour

Key Responsibilities:
– Support and optimize enterprise AI and analytics platforms (Azure AI, Databricks, Power BI/Fabric, Copilot Studio).
– Drive user adoption, training, and best practices.
– Collaborate with engineering and data teams to enable new AI/ML use cases.
– Monitor system performance and costs, identifying areas for improvement and automation.
– Research and implement emerging AI capabilities to drive business outcomes.

Required Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
– Proficiency in Python, C#, or Java, with experience in Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
– Understanding of machine learning concepts, data pipelines, and DevOps principles.
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
– Experience supporting SaaS/PaaS environments in enterprise settings.
– Knowledge of Generative AI principles (prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning) is an asset.
