💼 Position: Accounting Specialist
📅 Contract: December 2, 2024 – June 2, 2025 (with potential for turning permanent)
💰 Pay Rate: $28 – $30 per hour
📍 Location: Hybrid – 2 days a week in the office
Key Responsibilities
✔️ General ledger maintenance, journal entries, and monthly accruals
✔️ Accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliation
✔️ Preparation of financial statements and reports
✔️ Supporting external audits and compliance reporting
✔️ Investigating and resolving billing/payment issues
Qualifications
📊 2+ years of experience in accounting roles
📊 Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online & Desktop)
📊 Expertise in financial statement preparation and HST remittances
📊 Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
📊 Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
