Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Accountant. This position involves providing essential operational support within a collaborative environment, contributing to day-to-day financial processes, and ensuring accurate data management in a fast-paced setting.
Pay rate range (CAD): $31.09/hr – $37.30/hr
Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to financial institutions to facilitate client transfers and update internal systems accordingly
Conduct data entry tasks, including updating in-house systems and working with systems like ISM, Kofax, and internal case management software
Maintain timely and accurate follow-up activities to ensure transfer processes are completed efficiently
Participate in daily team huddles to coordinate tasks and priorities
Collaborate with external financial institutions and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
Maintain attention to detail while multitasking in a call center environment
Utilize intermediate Excel skills, including knowledge of macros, to manage spreadsheets and perform data analysis
Ensure compliance with data security and confidentiality protocols when handling sensitive customer data

Operations experience within a financial or call center environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy
High technical aptitude, especially with Excel and macros
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
Previous call center experience
Experience in a financial services or banking environment
Familiarity with Wealth systems such as ISM, EIS, and Ticketing
Bilingual proficiency in French and English
Prior experience working with macros
