Location: 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞, 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚
𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:
Seeking a senior-level Automation Engineer to design and build automation for infrastructure operations, including orchestrating failover scenarios
(bringing servers down/up). The role is hands-on, focused on on-premises
environments across Windows and Linux. Strong Python-based automation is required; cloud experience is a plus but not a substitute.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬:
– Strong hands-on automation experience in on-premises environments
– Advanced scripting expertise with Python (mandatory)
– Additional scripting with Bash and/or PowerShell
– Experience automating infrastructure operations such as:
– Server start/stop, service restarts
– IIS websites and application pool management
– SQL queries and database automation
– HTTP/REST automation for systems like F5 or NetScaler
– OS-level configuration (Linux kernel parameters, Windows registry)
– Experience with at least one enterprise automation/orchestration platform
(e.g., Ansible, Operations Orchestration, Server Automation, Rundeck, MECM)
– Strong systems and integration knowledge, able to build end-to-end automated
