Job Title: Data Architect – Intermediate

Security Clearance: Required (5 years of Permanent Residency in Canada or Canadian Citizenship)

Project Overview:
We seek an experienced and motivated Intermediate Data Architect to join our team and support an exciting data integration project. This project focuses on redesigning and implementing several reporting data marts, with conformed dimensions, and integrating data into an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and its dependent views.
As part of this role, you will assist in applying the Data Fabric architecture, data quality standards, and best practices to development processes, ensuring that the data infrastructure supports efficient and accurate decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement data warehouse solutions, focusing on dimensional modeling, star schemas, snowflake schemas, and conformed dimensions for consistent data integration across reporting data marts.
Develop both logical and physical data models that ensure data is stored efficiently, supports business processes, and meets reporting and analytics requirements.
Drive the adoption of best practices for data management, integration, and the use of standardized methodologies across the organization.
Contribute to data architecture development and data quality practices to align with business objectives and enhance reporting accuracy.
Utilize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and techniques to integrate data from various sources into the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).

Must-Have Requirements:

Education: Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Data Architecture or related field (Intermediate DA certification preferred).
Eligibility: Must be eligible for Enhanced Security Clearance.
Work Experience:
2 years of experience working with clients and explaining complex data principles.
2 years of experience in designing, planning, implementing, and supporting enterprise solutions.
2 years of experience documenting enterprise solution databases in an environment similar to the current one.
5 years of experience conducting threat and risk assessments, presenting findings, and making recommendations.
6 years of experience with enterprise architecture principles and associated best practices.
6 years of experience with enterprise business intelligence and performance management products.
5 years of experience working directly with clients, including external stakeholders, to ensure project success.
