Senior Business Analyst (Healthcare IT Solutions) – Toronto (Hybrid)

A government health agency is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead and conduct business analysis activities for various healthcare IT projects. This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, offering a blend of remote and on-site work.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and conduct business analysis, aligning with OPS methodologies and Agile frameworks.
Provide a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services.
Prepare and advise on business analysis policies, processes, and best practices.
Analyze defects and work with relevant parties to resolve them.
Support data migration activities.
Apply re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements.
Lead subject matter experts and stakeholder working groups.
Document business requirements for technology solutions.
Liaise with development and QA teams.
Lead technology troubleshooting activities and resolve complex issues.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience conducting business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience leading subject matter experts and stakeholder working groups.
Ability to document business requirements clearly.
Experience conducting business modeling, use case modeling, data modeling, and process flow modeling.
Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry.
Knowledge of personal health information protection legislation.
Experience with data quality, data access, and data de-identification best practices.
Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and solutions.
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
