Position Overview

As an Intermediate Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping client success by analyzing business needs, designing data and technology solutions, and supporting the delivery of impactful projects. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will bridge the gap between business challenges and technical solutions, helping organizations optimize operations and achieve strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process AnalysisConduct in-depth reviews of complex business processes to identify inefficiencies.Design actionable solutions to improve performance and map processes using tools like BPMN or flow diagrams.Requirements GatheringLead workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.Ensure alignment between requirements and organizational goals, recommending adjustments as needed.Solution Design SupportCollaborate with IT and multidisciplinary teams to co-create practical, scalable solutions.Prepare detailed documentation, such as workflows, specifications, and wireframes, to guide implementation.Stakeholder ManagementBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering trust and clear communication.Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure seamless collaboration.Data Analysis and InsightsAnalyze data using tools like Excel, Power BI, and SQL to uncover actionable insights.Present findings through professional reports and presentations with clear recommendations.Project ParticipationSupport multiple projects simultaneously, managing deliverables and tracking progress.Lead risk assessments, mitigation planning, and provide updates to ensure project success.Mentorship and Knowledge SharingMentor junior team members, fostering skill development and sharing best practices.Continuous ImprovementProactively identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and competitiveness.Technology IntegrationRecommend and support the integration of technologies that align with client and organizational needs.Client EngagementPartner directly with clients to understand goals, challenges, and requirements, tailoring solutions to meet their needs.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

Experience

3–5 years of experience in business analysis with a proven track record of delivering impactful business solutions.Eligible for Secret Level Security Clearance.

Skills

Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with excellent problem-solving skills.Proficiency in business process modeling (e.g., BPMN) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau).Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders across multiple levels.Knowledge of data governance and strategy principles (preferred).Experience with cloud platforms, enterprise systems, or workforce planning tools (e.g., ServiceNow) is an asset.

Certifications (Nice-to-Have)

CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional).Agile, Scrum, or Six Sigma certifications.
