Exciting Opportunity: Data Scientist – 6-Month Contract in Toronto, ON 🚀
Do you have a passion for AI and Machine Learning? Join our dynamic enterprise banking client and their Global AI & ML team, where you’ll have the opportunity to work on the cutting-edge AIDox Project. You will leverage AI and ML to automate the extraction and validation of key information from proprietary documents, revolutionizing how our systems operate.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and document process flows.
Utilize a combination of Business Rules, Text Analytics, Programming, and Machine Learning to extract critical information from documents.
Participate in daily Stand-Ups, communicate updates, and execute small demos.
Contribute to the planning stages and build a Proof of Concept for the project.
Enhance and improve the current extraction capabilities of our system.

📚 Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer.
3+ years of Python programming experience.
Hands-on experience with Machine Learning software (GCP, Pytorch, transformers, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and ability to review code meticulously.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

⭐Nice-to-Have:
Experience with NLP (Natural Language Processing).
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$45.00 and CA$55.00
