Cloud Operations & Infrastructure Engineer – Senior

Location: Remote within Canada | facilities for SECRET work
Contract: Temporary / Contract
Clearance: SECRET required; must have an active security clearance

Our client is seeking a Senior Cloud Operations & Infrastructure Engineer to support cloud-based, internet-facing applications in a secure, regulated environment.

What You’ll Do

· Support the enhancement, sustainment, and operation of the client’s continuous Authorization to Operate (cATO) platform

· Provide hands-on cloud operations support for cloud-based applications

· Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps

· Integrate AI tooling and automation into DevSecOps workflows

· Provide technical guidance on application development, GC Cloud, infrastructure-as-code and containerized environments

· Automate and optimize the software development lifecycle

· Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and support incident response

· Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, and solution discussions

· Provide cloud infrastructure engineering recommendations and technical leadership

Ideal Background

· Senior-level software/cloud engineering experience

· Strong Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps experience

· Hands-on DevSecOps, CI/CD, and automation

· Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and containers

· Knowledge of modern application security and development practices

· Experience working in regulated or Government environments

· Familiarity with continuous authorization/cATO models is highly desirable

· Fluent English, written and verbal

· Valid SECRET security clearance – mandatory
