Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Financial Operations Analyst/Accountant – Mutual Fund. This position involves managing day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring compliance, and supporting team collaboration within a high-risk, detail-oriented setting. Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $31.09/hr

Responsibilities

Process mutual fund trades and settlements accurately and timely
Investigate and resolve transaction breaks and discrepancies
Handle FundSERV transactions and manage money movements
Utilize Excel macros to support operational workflows
Provide customer service and respond to inquiries effectively
Maintain compliance with operational and regulatory procedures
Participate in daily team huddles and contribute to team discussions
Collaborate with internal teams, ensuring smooth transaction processing
Protect sensitive customer data and uphold confidentiality standards
Desired Skill-Set

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivots, and macros
Proven experience in banking or financial services, particularly mutual funds
Tech-savvy with the ability to learn internal systems quickly
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to learn swiftly and adapt to changing processes
Nice to Have

Experience with trade settlements
Previous background in high-risk compliance environments
Familiarity with FundSERV and related transactions
