Job Title: Kinaxis Solution Architect

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Kinaxis Solution Architect to join our team on a remote contract basis in Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning the end-to-end Kinaxis RapidResponse solution architecture, driving enterprise supply chain planning initiatives, and partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performing planning solutions.

This role requires a combination of deep functional expertise in supply chain planning and strong technical architecture experience within the Kinaxis RapidResponse platform.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Ownership

Own the end-to-end Kinaxis RapidResponse solution architecture across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, Capacity Planning, and S&OP/IBP.
Define and maintain the target-state architecture aligned with business strategy and supply chain planning maturity.
Lead architectural decision-making for:
Kinaxis data model design
Planning logic and scenario modeling
Integration architecture
Platform performance and scalability
Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and implementation best practices.
Review and approve functional and technical solution designs.
Enterprise Solution Design

Provide architecture leadership across implementation projects, enhancements, upgrades, and production support.
Ensure solution consistency across global rollouts and regional deployments.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate enterprise planning requirements into scalable Kinaxis solutions.
Guide development and implementation teams through complex solution designs and deployments.
Integration & Data Architecture

Own the Kinaxis integration strategy with SAP ERP, upstream, and downstream enterprise applications.
Define integration architecture, data flows, reconciliation processes, latency requirements, and error handling mechanisms.
Design scalable solutions capable of handling large enterprise data volumes.
Ensure platform reliability, availability, security, and optimal system performance.
Project Delivery

Support solution implementation from design through deployment.
Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
Lead post-go-live stabilization activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide architectural guidance during platform upgrades and release management.
Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary Kinaxis architectural advisor to business executives, IT leadership, and project stakeholders.
Support roadmap development, solution estimation, and technology evaluations.
Provide thought leadership for enterprise supply chain planning transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
10+ years of IT and Supply Chain Planning experience.
5+ years of hands-on Kinaxis RapidResponse architecture and implementation experience.
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale Kinaxis solutions.
Strong customer-facing consulting and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading large-scale implementation programs.

Manufacturing industry experience.
Experience supporting pre-sales, solution strategy, and architecture advisory engagements.
Knowledge of cloud integration platforms and enterprise middleware.
