Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI Product)

🚨 Hiring: Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI Product) | Toronto (Hybrid 2x/week)

I’m partnering with a well-funded Toronto SaaS company that’s scaling quickly and building an AI-first product used by enterprise customers across North America.

This is a newly created role where you’ll join early, work directly with engineering leadership, and help shape the next generation of an AI-powered platform.

What they’re looking for:
✅ 5+ years of software engineering experience
✅ Strong Node.js, TypeScript & JavaScript fundamentals
✅ Full-stack experience (Angular or React on the frontend)
✅ AWS, MongoDB, APIs, distributed systems, messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, etc.)
✅ Experience building AI-powered product features using LLMs (RAG, agents, prompt engineering, AI orchestration, etc.)
⭐ Priority will be given to engineers with true 0→1 product-building experience who have helped architect and launch products from the ground up.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply pick up tickets. You’ll own features end-to-end—from architecture and implementation to production, observability, and continuous iteration based on customer feedback. You’ll also help improve AI reasoning, conversation quality, evaluation frameworks, and production reliability while mentoring junior engineers.
