Title: 🚀 Hiring: Senior Azure Data Engineer (ETL/Lakehouse) | Onsite – Toronto, ON (9-Month Contract)

Are you a seasoned Data Engineer with deep expertise in the Azure ecosystem and the Medallion Architecture? We are looking for a Senior Software Developer (ETL) to join a mission-critical project within the Health Services Cluster in Toronto.

If you thrive on building robust, scalable ELT pipelines and working with massive health data sets, this role is for you.

📌 Role Details:
Position: Senior Software Developer – ETL
Location: Onsite (Toronto, ON)
Duration: 9-Month Contract (with potential extension)

🔥 Must-Haves:
10+ years of IT experience with massive, enterprise-level application design and data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).
Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building and automating complex ETL/ELT pipelines.
Hands-on mastery of Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Delta Live Tables) and implementing Medallion Data Lakehouse architectures.
Proven experience with CI/CD automation (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) for data pipelines.
Deep familiarity with ADLS, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Event Hubs, and Azure Functions.
Strong data governance skills using Unity Catalog.

💼 Nice-to-Haves:
Prior experience working within the Public Sector or on Large-Scale Health IT projects.
Power BI integration and performance tuning experience.
